We will be inspired by the iconic image of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo to create portraits of the icon using various techniques such as painting, graphics and coloring. PLEASE READ THIS NOTE: this 15-page PDF includes illustrations and drawing models as well as a presentation page and two instructions pages (3 pages) in French language. Suffering from poliomyelitis and victim of a serious accident in her youth, she embodies courage and resilience. Also a multidisciplinary activity in language can be considered as a work on the synonyms of the concept of courage or in history for the woman’s day. The texts of this resource are in French. This resource also includes many illustrations, coloring pages and printable posters. The language of colors is an educational support for understanding the mixing of colors and their symbolism from the age of 9 with simple and original activities and exercises requiring inexpensive equipment such as markers and colored pencils. We will also approach the artistic currents of Impressionism and Fauvism to illustrate the activities. All activities are preceded by instructions and include illustration pages, coloring pages and printable posters. What is included: The mixture of colors with chromatic circle to complete. The muñeca quitapenas or worry dolls, hassle dolls, sorrow dolls are tiny dolls from Mayan folklore that would remove worries. Following a tradition of the peoples of the highlands of Guatemala: if a child has a worry, a problem or a hassle such as sadness or fear, he can share it with a Worry-Doll. In the evening, before going to bed, he tells something that worries him to one or more dolls, then he places them under his pillow. While sleeping, popular legend says that dolls will take away worries and let the child sleep peacefully. They can be used to relieve the emotional distress of the child or adolescent. Description of the activity : You are going to make two mini worry dolls with their traditional box on cardboard paper. What is provided : illustration to color, cut, assemble and glue to make 2 dolls and a box.
